Papers and Printers
Printer paper comes in a wide variety of weights and
products, in fact, some are not even paper, like
transparencies and transfers, but they extend the use of
your printer.
PAPER FACTS:
- Papers are made to suit purpose.
- Papers range in weight.
- Some paper are coated to help the ink dry fast and evenly.
- Paper comes in a variety of textures and compositions.
- Whiteness counts - the whiter the paper is, the better
the final product will appear.
- Not all printers will print well using printers.
- Printer resolution can make big difference in the final
product - too much ink can be absorbed by the paper causing a
dull, flat appearance, when too little ink is absorbed,
the paper can pucker and the inks can smear.
When you take the time to something on your printer,
be sure to use the right products for the job. It will save
you time and make the final product the best it can be.
